Release Overview #
Our newest release makes payment collection faster and more efficient with improved filtering for stored Payment Methods in the Payment Console. We’ve updated key gateway integrations for better compliance and reporting—including support for Cybersource’s new authentication requirements—and ensured compatibility with upcoming Salesforce platform changes.
Note: We encourage all Chargent merchants who use the Cybersource payment gateway to update to this package as soon as possible in order to test the new authentication methods before their enforcement date of August 12, 2025.
New Features #
Payment Methods – Filter by Account & Contact
Where: Chargent Base and Orders version 7.85 and newer – works with Payment Console
We’ve simplified finding the right payment method in a snap for your accounts and contacts with these features. Agents can now more quickly locate and select payment methods when collecting payments from your customers. Simply filter Payment Methods by the associated Account or Contact records in the Chargent Anywhere Payment Console to select from a smaller set.
Configured on Chargent Order Object
When collecting a payment using the Chargent Anywhere Payment Console configured on a Chargent Order record, the Payment Methods shown are limited to those associated with the Account or Contact records populated on that Chargent Order record.
Configured on Other Salesforce Pages
When collecting a payment using the Chargent Anywhere Payment Console configured on a Salesforce page other than the Chargent Orders object, the Payment Methods shown are associated with the Account or Contact records populated in the respective lookup fields on that page.

Enhancements #
Cybersource Payment Gateway Integration – Authentication Update
Our Cybersource payment gateway integration has been updated to accommodate their new security requirements, which stipulate that only P12 authentication will be allowed for SOAP APIs starting August 12, 2025.
What this means for Chargent users
An update to your Cybersource payment gateway record in Salesforce is required, and should be completed and tested before August 12, 2025.

Authorize.net Payment Gateway Integration – Batch ID Field
The Batch ID field has been added to the field mapping for our Authorize.net payment gateway integration. This field is not unique and reflects all transactions processed in the same batch, allowing for easier reporting and more detailed record keeping around bank reconciliations in Salesforce.
Salesforce Summer ‘25 Release – ICU Locale Format Requirements
As of Salesforce’s Summer ‘25 release, Salesforce is adopting the International Components for Unicode (ICU) locale formats, which necessitates app developers like us to maintain compatibility with all related requirements. Specifically, API version 45.0 is the minimum required version for ICU. As such, we’ve ensured Chargent meets all Salesforce API requirements for this release.
Known Issues & Notes #
The issues listed below are known limitations in this release. Our team is investigating and addressing them, and we will communicate progress in future updates.
Setup Wizard – Cybersource & SCA
When enabling Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) during the configuration of a Cybersource gateway record in the Setup Wizard, the Continue button may become partially blocked.
Workaround
Clicking any visible portion of the Continue button should progress the wizard to the next page. Additionally, using the web browser’s zoom function to zoom out will reveal the button, allowing for engagement with it.
