Located in the Chargent Settings Tab of the Chargent app, you’ll find the PCI Compliance Tools subtab. This subtab contains the Secure CSC Wizard, which helps you evaluate your Chargent version as it relates to the PCI DSS standard of never storing the card security code (CSC) for any amount of time at any point.
Please note that this page is designed to help you lower the scope of your PCI Compliance but does not ensure your Salesforce org is PCI Compliant. PCI Compliance should be handled by your Privacy and Compliance Team or a reputable Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).

To access the PCI Compliance Tools subtab:
- Go to the App Launcher
and click the Chargent app. - Click the Chargent Settings tab.
- Click the down arrow next to Global Settings.
- Click PCI Compliance Tools.
and click the Chargent app.
From the PCI Compliance Tools page, you can see your Chargent package version. As long as your Chargent packages are 5.20 or above, the scope of your PCI compliance is reduced. However, we always recommend updating to the latest version whenever possible. You can quickly update your Chargent version from this page by following these steps:
- Click Go to Secure CSC Wizard
- Log in to your Salesforce account.
- When asked to allow access, click Allow.
- Click Chargent to update your packages to the latest version.
