When Chargent is unable to update or save a transaction, it stores a record on the Email Notification object with a “TRUE” value in the Unresolved Transaction field. Chargent displays the details of the following fields in the Unresolved Transaction tab. Depending on your page layout or field-level security settings, some of the fields listed below will be visible or editable.
Field Name | Description |
---|---|
Amount | Total funds attempted in the transaction. |
Chargent Order | The Chargent order record related to this transaction. |
Gateway Date | The date and time this record reached the gateway. |
Gateway ID | Unique reference number returned to Chargent by the payment gateway. If this field contains “Chargent Error,” Chargent has prevented the transaction from being sent to your payment gateway. Any other value in this field was generated by your payment gateway. |
Original Error | Exception thrown in the code for the problem. Use this information to diagnose and resolve your Unresolved Transactions. |
Recurring | Checkbox indicating this record was part of a series of recurring transactions. |
Transaction Status | If your gateway provides status updates for certain types of transactions, those updates display in this field. |
Type | The kind of transaction submitted, such as Authorization, Charge, Void, or Refund. Click here for more details on these transaction types. |
