Currently Supported Versions #

Starting in 2023, Chargent began rolling out push update functionality to Chargent. After the latest phase of push updates in July 2024, Chargent will only provide support for customers on Chargent version 6.0 or above.

As always, we recommend testing any update in a sandbox before updating your production org. There is no cost to update. Please contact our support team if you require assistance.

Legacy Packages End-of-Life #

Chargent no longer supports Chargent’s legacy packages for Opportunities or Cases. These packages ceased distribution in 2017 and are no longer supported as of June 30, 2022. Please contact our Support team, who can assist you in planning your migration to the Chargent Orders package.

I was asked to change our payment methods and was having issues with it being charged to the wrong gateway. Nick and I had a web meeting in which he was able to point out the issue of a different process builder that was changing gateways from the one I thought was. Chargent is very useful, and is able to make complicated integrations much more straightforward. In just a few minutes, the setup wizard is able to connect you to a variety of different gateways to test or process live transactions. There’s also good documentation to walk you through the specifics of integrating with a particular gateway. The few complications I’ve run into have been handled by a capable and friendly support team.
