Release Overview #
Chargent v8.10 announces our partnership with PayPal and introduces our newest gateway integration with PayPal Complete Payments (PPCP). Additionally, we have resolved two XML errors related to our Cybersource gateway integration. See the details below for more information.

NEW Gateway Integration – PayPal Complete Payments (PPCP)

Bug Fixes #
Resolved: Cybersource XML Parsing Error
Resolved a known issue reported in Chargent Version 7.96 and affecting versions up through v8.0, where customers may receive an XML Parsing Error when attempting to include the PO Number in transaction callouts.
Identify the Error: This error occurs when attempting to make a payment via the Cybersource gateway with the PO Number field populated on the Chargent Order record. The following error occurs: “soap:Client – XML parse error.”
Action Required: Update Chargent to version 8.10 or later to resolve the error.
Resolved: Cybersource Malformed XML Error
Resolved an issue introduced in Chargent Version 8.0, wherein customers may receive an error message when using Cybersource Custom Mapping.
Identify the Error: This error occurs when attempting to make a payment via the Cybersource gateway with Cybersource Custom Mapping enabled. The following error occurs: “wsse:FailedCheck – Security Data: The signature or decryption was invalid.”
Action Required: Update Chargent to version 8.10 or later to resolve the error.
