Release Details #

Parallel Recurring Batch Processing #

We’ve refactored the Recurring Billing Batch to process payments in parallel, potentially speeding up processing by up to 4x! This feature allows customers to disable their existing Recurring Billing Batch and replace it with a custom Parallel Recurring Batch that significantly reduces processing times and allows control over the number of partitions (charge-processing batch jobs) and the batch scope (records processed per partition).

Improve your recurring billing with parallel recurring batch processing by updating to Chargent v8.40.

Note: Parallel Recurring Batch Processing must be requested and is enabled by a Chargent representative. Please submit a ticket to enable Parallel Recurring Batch Processing.
