Release Overview #
Chargent v8.16 provides user experience and functionality updates for the Payment Request form and Take Payment component. Additionally, we’ve updated the Cybersource gateway integration’s surcharging functionality to store your surcharge data directly in Cybersource. See the details below for more information about these enhancements.

Release Details #
Payment Request & Take Payment Component Updates
We have updated the Payment Request and Take Payment Component features to improve the overall user experience and functionality. Specifically, we have updated the loading behavior of the Payment Request form and Take Payment component to prevent UI issues and improved overall error messaging, providing a smoother payform loading experience. Additionally, the Take Payment Component now loads successfully in Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) and Aura Digital Experience sites.
Add Surcharge fields to Cybersource Simple Order API request
We have updated the Cybersource payment gateway integration to pass in the surchageAmount and surchageSign parameters, allowing you to track your surcharges directly in your Cybersource account.
To find the surcharging information in your Cybersource account, visit the transaction details and view the Surcharge Amount field, as displayed below.
