This version is no longer available to download via the Package Installation Manager (PIM). Customers may only install or update to the latest version of Chargent, which includes features, enhancements, and fixes from all previous versions. Release Overview #
Chargent v8.0 is a stable release that will be pushed to our customers following Salesforce’s Winter ‘26 release. In this version, we’ve begun converting our existing Workflow Rules to Flow in anticipation of Salesforce’s Workflow Rules & Process Builder end-of-support. See the details below for more information.

Release Details #
As we approach Salesforce’s upcoming end of support for Workflow Rules & Process Builder, we’ve begun converting our Workflow Rules to Flow. Related objects include: Transaction, Chargent Order, Payment Request, and Email Notification.
To best preserve our customers’ custom configurations, old Workflow Rules will not be automatically deactivated, and the new Flows will not be automatically activated. Merchants should deactivate Chargent’s old Workflow Rules and activate the new Flows at their earliest convenience. Salesforce notes that Workflow Rules will continue to function after the deadline, as stated in Salesforce Workflow Rules & Process Builder End of Support; however, they will no longer receive support.
Action Required
We recommend all Chargent customers finalize the transition from Workflow Rules to Flow before Salesforce’s deadline on December 31, 2025. For instructions, including a list of the Workflow Rules to deactivate, see the video below or visit Converting Chargent’s Workflow Rules to Flow.
