Release Overview #

We are pleased to announce the release of Chargent v7.75, a maintenance update focused on enhancing stability and performance. This update adds the JWE Key ID field to our Paymentus gateway integration and addresses the following issues:

Failed card transactions when using the Paya payment gateway integration
Errors encountered during the configuration of the Chargent Anywhere component
Field update issues where Next Scheduled Payment Date and Next Transaction Date were not accurately updating after recurring payment collection

This update reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering a reliable and seamless payment experience. We recommend upgrading to v7.75 to ensure optimal performance.

Paymentus Payment Gateway Integration – KID Field Added

Updated the Setup Wizard to include the JWT Key ID (KID) field as part of the Paymentus Payment Gateway Integration setup. This field ensures proper authentication when configuring this gateway integration in Chargent.

Paymentus Payment Gateway – Failed ACH Payments

Fixed an issue wherein ACH payments using the Paymentus gateway integration failed due to a missing field value: card-holder-name.

Paya Payment Gateway – Failed Card Payments

Fixed an issue wherein certain card payments using the Paya gateway integration failed due to the ‘isRecurring’ parameter being absent during Card Not Present (CNP) transactions.

Chargent Anywhere – Configuration Errors

Fixed an issue wherein the configuration of the Chargent Anywhere component failed when configured in a Salesforce Education Cloud org.

Next Scheduled Payment Date & Next Transaction Date – Field Updates

Fixed an issue wherein the Next Scheduled Payment Date and Next Transaction Date fields on the Chargent Order Record would not update correctly upon a recurring payment collection.

He was not only helpful for the initial set up, but he would send helpful training videos for the rest of the team. Chargent is very useful, and is able to make complicated integrations much more straightforward. In just a few minutes, the setup wizard is able to connect you to a variety of different gateways to test or process live transactions. There’s also good documentation to walk you through the specifics of integrating with a particular gateway.
