Release Overview #
Flexibility is vital as your business grows and evolves, and payment processing is no exception. That’s why Chargent offers more than 30 direct payment gateway integrations. Today, we’re proud to add Paymentus to that list. This integration enables users to transact through Paymentus using our popular payment interfaces, API, and other payment automation tools. These transactions are secured via card and bank account tokenization, and recorded in your Salesforce org – where your customer data lives.
This new gateway integration is also ready to be leveraged with our recently released Multi-Gateway Tokenization and Smart Payment Routing features.

Enhancements #
Previously Store ACH Validations & Payment Methods
ACH validations may exist in your Chargent implementation before enabling Chargent’s Payment Methods functionality. After you enable Payment Methods, Chargent runs a batch that moves existing ACH validations to the newly created Payment Method records. So, you don’t have to spend money on new ACH validation attempts in order to abide by NACHA’s Supplementing Fraud Detection Standards for WEB Debits mandate.
Updates #
Cybersource Gateway Integration – Updating Token w/ Payment Console
Fixed an issue wherein token updates using the Cybersource gateway integration that were initiated from the Payment Console failed, resulting in an error message.
Known Issues & Notes #
Saved Payment Methods in Experience Cloud / Communities
Authenticated Communities users may experience an issue wherein previously saved payment methods will not be accessible for subsequent payments in the Take Payment Lightning Web Component.
Workaround
Until this issue is resolved in a future update, users experiencing this may re-enter their card or bank account information in order to submit payments in the Experience Cloud.
