Release Overview #

Chargent version 7.79 is a maintenance release that delivers bug fixes related to Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) using our Cybersource payment gateway integration, as well as ACH payments using our Vantiv payment gateway integration with Salesforce Billing.

Cybersource Payment Gateway – Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)

Fixed an issue wherein Visa payments did not trigger the appropriate SCA flow when processed through the Cybersource payment gateway integration.

Vantiv Payment Gateway – ACH Payments & Salesforce Billing

Fixed an issue wherein ACH payments using the Vantiv payment gateway integration in Salesforce Billing could result in the following error: “Gateway Response: 949 Gateway Status: Account type required for eCheck token.”

We signed up for the add-on package for the Automated Payments and the same day we signed up we had Nick schedule a meeting with us to get started. He was not only helpful for the initial set up, but he would send helpful training videos for the rest of the team. We have been using devs to handle our connections between FormAssembly, Chargent and Salesforce. I was asked to change our payment methods and was having issues with it being charged to the wrong gateway. Chargent is very useful, and is able to make complicated integrations much more straightforward. In just a few minutes, the setup wizard is able to connect you to a variety of different gateways to test or process live transactions. There’s also good documentation to walk you through the specifics of integrating with a particular gateway. The few complications I’ve run into have been handled by a capable and friendly support team.
